The Elkins Lake Couples Golf Association was formed to promote good fellowship among the members and encourage the active participation of its members in playing golf.

Notes:

Tournaments will be governed by USGA rules which may be modified by local course rules. A couple is defined as one man and one woman. Singles are also eligible to join the ELCGA to play in any events if they are paired with a member of the opposite sex.

All participants must have an established handicap. Team handicaps will be determined according to guidelines found in the USGA Handicap System Manual, Section 4. A minimum of five scores is needed for an established handicap. Until a player has an established handicap, that player must play at scratch. For any tournament, the procedure of play, the flights and pairings, the number of places for which prizes will be awarded and any special rules of play shall be posted prior to play.
